My Grandparents, on my moms side immigrated from Sicily to Ellis Island where they eventually settled in Monterey, California. They built their home on spaghetti hill, by the sea. My father’s parents are natives as well. I have a daughter who lives and works with me. About me? Well, I’m a farmer. The business is called, “Cousins Dozens”. I harvest chicken eggs (certified), fruits, vegetables, and spices (all organic). I have been known to be a workaholic and can work endless hours if I believe in something passionately. I once raised money for child abuse prevention by creating the Father’s Day Biathlon. A funny story about this is - when I approached the all liberal city council, they laughed at me and said, “nobody can put on an event like this in six months, it takes a least a year! They went on to say, what a lovey dream it is, and a dream it will remain. So, I went to the county and was granted a permit. My dream became a reality!
