Denmark says U.S. attack on Greenland would mean end of NATO
A military move in Greenland would strike at the foundation of an alliance based on the principle of collective defense.
I don't see any downside in this. NATO has done nothing for some 80 years that has stopped any wars or deposed any dictators. The United States pays the bulk of the NATO budget, which continues to increase, but hasn't accomplished anything worth mentioning.
