Because I w... View MoreI was born a healthy baby before I was abused so bad it left me disabled for life, Child Family Services knew but didn't do shit about it. I was in an abusive foster home until I ran away. Because I was adopted government treats me like a child even in adulthood by denying me my original birth certificate and most of my medical history. Because I have a pre-existing condition, the free market won't sell health insurance to me, so I must use Medicare, and because of that, I must remain poor to qualify. I am "the other." Where's my fucking hashtag? Life's a bitch, and you have to find a way to get over it. Despite these challenges and being homeless, I made myself finish HS, knowing that without an HS diploma, I couldn't do anything I ever wanted. I went on to graduate from TWO technical schools, one for Computer Information Systems, and the other for Audio Engineering. I organized and ran a community clean-up for two years. I worked for many years in physically challenging jobs because I wanted to show I could before I lost my mobility. And I'm now putting together my own business, which should be up and running in Feb or March. Black lives matter and third-wave feminists want the world to be fair to them. It isn't. These whiny self-indulgent narcissistic adult children are looking for handouts, instead of what everyone before them did, and got over their challenges. Everyone else is to blame for their lot in life. And they want everyone else to feel miserable because of it. I squarely lay the blame for my disability on my biological parents and the government that didn't intervene. I squarely lay the abuse I went through with my foster parents. I talk a lot about how the government keeps people poor. But what I never, ever, ever do, is complain about the challenges of my disability. Never. Not once. I did sports, musicals, community service, and traveled cross-country, you name it. I never let it keep me down. I overcame it. None of you will ever know what it's like going through 10 surgeries, years of therapy, surviving child abuse, not once, but twice, and fighting against a government that punishes you for trying to succeed. And yet, I never let it hold me down. This is why I can't stand BLM or today's whiny feminists. If they can create a movement, then they can improve their own community and their own lot in life. But that's hard. It's much easier to whine about it's challenges.
