I am overwhelmed! I am still learning the ropes but I will get back to everybody! I will also get verified. W Thank you for your reaction to my pic. We all made a contribution but the real credit goes to our fantastic pilots! Well folks the do- do has contacted the fan! The incoming house, oversight... View More

Shrike I have not heard Gentle Friend. How many lives did it cost?

WaldoJPeabody
Shrike I do have a question for a Naval Aviator though, and with a name like Shrike perhaps you will have the answer. Why isn't some squadron with a primarily EADS mission all over this photo for tail art.

Thus it has always been. (thus the above reference to "Going Downtown" (Flight of the Intruder). I don't know of any songs about the Bantum Bomber, the A7 or the Spad. Still don't know why somebody hasn't jumped on that wild weasel for tail art.

Shrike
That looks like a very unlucky woodpecker up there and yes, I do need to read the directions, which I will in due time. A Shrike is a vicious little bird, like the A4. They got A7's in '71 & last I heard, they were still operational flying the latest & greatest. I believe they are now designated as ... View More
