View MoreNative South Carolinian; retired college English instructor; life-long Republican but never liked Strom Thurmond, Lindsey Graham or Tom Rice; love listening to audiobooks, writing, and talking politics with conservatives. Never really cared about politics until Trump came on the scene, so I had to do some catchup on my knowledge of our Constitution. I remembered only two of the three branches and only the first two amendments. In 2007 I purchased my first gun and went to the range every day to practice. So relaxing it’s scary! But I’ve come to terms with it 😀I have two grandchildren in the military, granddaughter in Air Force and married to a Marine, and grandson will graduate West Point in 2023. So proud of them!
