Matthew 23:3 The religious (many) know almost the entire Bible, they have their own rules, rituals and customs that instead of bringing them closer to God, they distance them because they add all this to the Word in violation of God's order of: You shall not add anything to the word that I command you, nor take anything away from it, so that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God that I command you.
