Hey, Duck, I saw you and Miss Kathy chatting the other day. I on occasion have difficulty with a bit of pleurisy after I have been laying down a while. Once you get a good baseline on your new program, I have found that a tablespoon of Medium Salsa or a cup of Spicy V-8 an hour before bed helps ea... View More

‌He may not have seen this. He had a bad night and a busy day tomorrow and unless it goes to his notifications, it's too far down the line for him to catch it. If it's okay with you, I can copy and paste it into a message for him. Or you can.

‌Thanks Waldo. I am more afraid that the Salsa would be a problem for my hiatal hernia.

‌Perhaps try the Spicy-V8, half and half with water. The effect on my breathing was discovered when I was having to stay super-hydrated to keep a Foley 3-Way from clotting with blood. Added the Spicy-v-8 to assist with nutrition and to add a bit of flavor to the water.

D‌oyou drink this right before bed or earlier? I have a problem with acid reflux as part of the Hiatal hernia

‌Normally an hour or so before bed. I was having a bit of a reflux problem myself, Five or six times with aspiration. That is rough till one works out a technique to clear it. Now, nothing for a couple of hours before bed.

‌Well, start off easy, maybe 6 oz water and 2 oz Spicy V-8 or a teaspoon of salsa. See how your stomach does. 2665.png

‌I did up a supper the other night, a bit of hamburger, two eggs, a cup or so of O'Brian hashbrowns, a 1/4 cut of shredded Colby cooked up together in a skillet, Dumped it into a bowl and added about 2 tablespoons of Salsa. Got rid of my "Rattle" for about 12 hours.

‌Oh yeah. My favorite quick meal is chicken or turkey enchiladas smothered in Nacho sauce and baked on a bed of dirty rice (Knorr). Meat is from leftovers, rolled in either corn or flour tortillas with shredded cheese, than laid out on the bed of rice in a corning ware casserole tha... View More
