    How do I ask someone to be my friend? I am not familiar with this style (never did Facebook).

    @pamdebear63, There isn't a Friend Request feature like you may have used on other platforms. Depending on whether you are using your phone or a laptop, you can tap that person's name, or hover the mouse over that person's name, then select Add Friend.
