To All Whom May These Presents Come
I got a call the other day.....It was my daughter....She was calling to wish me a Happy Birthday.
My daughter asked me what I had been up to. I say "Daughter, about the same, contending for
Plasma". I hear a squeal in the background. I say "Daughter, bring her into your lap and put the
phone on Speaker. Grandpa will tell a story"
Dear Sweet, Up in Alaska is a loveable but certifiable group of nut cases. I met one named Dallas
several years back. Anyway, each year, these certifiable nut cases hitch up teams of dogs to their
idiot rods and go pounding off through the snow in subfreezing temperatures on a 730 mile run to
Nome, Alaska in a glorious celebration of Behring's BALTO my sweet 5 year old granddaughter
screams. Goodness, Sweetness, what do you know about Balto? Daughter groans "We must have
watched that movie 50 times". Gentle memories wash over me. I say to my daughter:
"Percussion....Strings....Winds....Words" and break into song..."Dare, you see her, Sitting dare across
da way.....She don't got a lot to say but dare's something about her.....Ane you don't know why, but
your dying to try, you wanna kiss de girl." Daughter groans again and says to me "Quit that, point
taken. Daughter, having followed along with my activities, asks if it is possible that Sweetness could
one day become the "Nation's Foremost Authority on Infectious Diseases"? I answer "in my next
1
correspondance, I'll see if I can get her on the "Short" list" Another groan from my vertically
challanged daughter.
. Allow me to introduce myself. For purposes of this evolution I have adopted the nom de guerre
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX but you can call me Livid. I am a simple citizen and, by the grace of the Lord
God Almighty, a Texan.
........
In late January, early February, I started paying attention to the news out of China concerning the
outbreak of what became known as Covid-19. What struck my attention were a few items which
might have gone unnoticed by others. New hospitals erected from scratch in 3 days. I'd like to see
the chemistry behind that concrete. The casualty rates among healthcare. The fact that the military
was going door to door collecting anybody that had the sniffles. I thought I had better take a look at
the numbers. Crunching the curve of cumulative cases, I came up with a log base that hovered
around 1.15. Projecting that out to 180 days (180 log[1.15] for those inclined) and ignoring
population dynamics (infinate population) since it was just a first pass I came back with a bit over 8
trillion cases within 180 days. Problem is, the world doesn't have 8 trillion people but the first pass
was still worth, to quote the Great Pooh Bear in difference to any tender ears which might be
listening, an "Oh Bother".
Referring you back to the casualty rates among healthcare from China I was especially concerned.
I am not One of the Lamp but of One of the Lamp am I. Being the son of one who had sworn the
Sacred Oath of the Lamp and the grandson of another. I grew up thinking that the Oath began with
"First, don't let the doctor kill the patient". I'm thinking now it was a private joke but, having on the
many occasions I have had to make inquiry of several of the pinned of late, I have never received any
answer other than a smile. I also grew up reading about the Heros of Medicine. Jenner, Pasteur,
Behring, Reed, Beaumont, Lister, and so many others. History will recall the Heros of the Pandemic
of 2019-20. There may also be Zeros, even a few Geros. History will decide.
That being said, I said to myself, "Self, how can you help those of the Lamp, the Angels who walk
among us?" Myself said back "Think".
.....
So, on behalf of the Angels I think, and share my thoughts. I shared my thoughts to those locally
who I deemed would be vital to the fight. "Don't worry, wash your hands, cough into your sleeve".
(Remember, these were the early days). I shared my thoughts with another, "Are we ready?"..."Go
to the State Website", wash into your hands, cough into your sleeve". I shared my thoughts with my
2
doctor. He said "Sounds scientifically sound, wash your hands, cough into your sleeve" (I'm getting
real close to slapping someone here".)
I say to myself, "Self, you're not making much progress, think" Than I remember one of my dear,
sweet, mother's maxims. "Don't waste your time with middle management, go straight to the top".
Thus, began my real fight for the Angels. Contending for those of the Lamp and those of the
Asklepian, making petitions to the President. Not pointing out the problem, rather, offering ideas
for a solution.
EXHIBIT 1
There are others, so many others.
Actually, making something of a pest of myself. Love my nurses though.
Interesting way to fight a war, the above is all I have ever heard back from the President or the
White House. Casting my thoughts into the void, listening for echos and there have been some.
As I referenced above, I have been contending before the President for convelescent plasma, first,
on behalf of the afflicted and Healthcare, than for essential workers (those who keep our cities
running), Agriculture (those who keep us fed) and Transportation (those who tie it all together).
HEAT. Plasma antibodies both for therapy and prophylaxis, to aid in healing and to protect.
At first, when I presented a plan, there were few donors but by 21 April, in my estimation, we were
getting close to having a pool of potential donors large enough to make a difference. I suggested it
was time to turn and face the enemy. Little happened. Bless Mayo for their trial and the FDA for the
compassionate use authorization.
.......
And now, there are those who would deny plasma to us.
To Those of the Lamp, stay true to your oath. Gentle, kind, loving and sympathetic to the affliction
of others. For now, we need plasma donors, I estimate Commercial Plasma can handle a million,
perhaps a million, two on the front end. Among those identified as healthcare, we are currently
looking at perhaps 500,000 who have contracted Covid-19. Find the donors, direct them to
Commercial Plasma.
https://www.donatingplasma.org/donation/find-a-donor-center
The Red Cross is great at what they do but Commercial Plasma collects plasma on an industrial scale
3
for a living. They also reimburse donors. Perhaps you can use the reimbursements to endow a relief
committee to aid the families of the fallen, provide for an education of their children and eventually,
assist in the education for those who would take the Oath from among the less fortunate.
Than, call your roll. Find out who does not answer.
Than, perhaps offer a little love to your President. He has fought a hard fight on your behalf and is
taking a beating for it. There is more to do. On other things, agree with him or not, vote for him or
not, love him as he loves you. Add a note that you are an aunt or uncle of XXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXX
so he knows I have joined the fight.
https://www.whitehouse.gov/get-involved/write-or-call/
Finally, be ready to offer sympathy to the afflicted. I am not of your oath. Afflict them I shall.
To those of the Asklepian (and even the Caduceus if your hearts are pure), do much as those of the
Lamp. Encourage donation from among your members. Call the roll and, perhaps offer up a bit of
love to the President who has fought on your behalf, to provide plasma for those under your care
persuant to an EUA from the FDA. Again, mention me as a friend. Finally, remain still. It will be to
you, and history, to judge those against whom I will contend against on the public square.
........
I have not investigated to determine if they have committed any crime or broken any law except
perhaps persuant to your oath but who could ever have imagined that which they have done to
write a law against it. A side note that you may judge my intentions, 16 months ago, I presented to
one of your fellows with a PSA of 1054. 5 to bone, 1 remote. I am good for the fight for a while yet,
after all, I am a Texan, but I am under no illusions. I have read the literature and the studies.
To Dr. Birx, sleep easy. To Dr. Hahn, wipe those beads of sweat off your forehead and sleep easy but
I would like to talk about who's idea it was to expand the Mayo Trial to 90,000+.
To Sen. Klobuchar and her merry bipartisan band, Tom Hanks, Dwayne Johnson and all other's who
have joined in the fight for plasma. Thank you. Now. Try harder.
To Dr. Joyner and your team, to Ms. Dolly Parton and to all those who fight for Plasma in their own
way. You are blessed. Thank you
To The President, I did not abandon my fight, merely moved out to distant overwatch to wait out the
weasels. I asked for one but three I'll take to the woodshed for my Angels sake. The rest you can do
with as you will. Also in my origional proposal I suggested a remittance of $2 a month for my efforts.
This was so that any developments upon my ideas would belong to the American People. It has
been 5 months. Your accounts show that you are 4 months in arrears (you bum) with another
current. Please post the $10 as paid with a $5 contribution to your campain and than make a $5
contribution to Mr. Biden's campain on my behalf. I must remain free of politics.

Stepping outside my wheelhouse for a word or two to the college boys. GO HOME. Your education
is seriously lacking. Suggested reading: The Rules of Land Warfare. You are on desperately thin ice.
Go back to school, complete your education, find someone to love, have children, get divorced,
adopt a dog to learn what true love is, heck adopt a cat, try marrage again, get her off three times
every time, have more children, live a long and happy life living the American Dream but most of all
think about what you're doing. Nutshell, the government cannot strip you of your citizenship but by
taking up arms against your fellow citizens, be they clerks, cooks or cops you are effectively
renouncing your citizenship and the rights persuant there to. A rock is a rock is a rock until it is
thrown, than it becomes a Mk 1 Ballistic Missile (ask your physics prof). Don't even get me started
on dazzling lasers, whoever suggested that doesn't like you very much. I know, I said a word or two.
You should see me when I get wound up, maybe better not.
To the Media, If I want to talk, I'll contact you. Except perhaps for Ms. Dagen. The President has my
contact information although he has not used it to date. I feel a Southern Cussin coming on and it is
a High Art Form. I am a bit rusty. I figure if I can make you blush I will be ready for the fight ahead of
me. If not, perhaps you would be able to give me some pointers on style.
Winding down, to my Angels, love. To those who would help my Angels, love and finally,
My spelling is careless and my prose is bad but my poetry is verse.

An amazing event happened on September 8, 2020, in a Donald Trump
campaign rally in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The huge crowd broke into
spontaneous “We love you” chants for the president. He was noticeably

affected.
