I’m heavily into the Paternal side of my Ancestry (my Great Grandmother’s maiden name was MacLean; her daughter, my Paternal Grandmother, traced the MacLean lineage back to the Islands of Scotland and Clan MacLean of Lochbuie [versus the MacLeans of Duart] on the Isle of Mull in the Inner Hebrides). The first of my Ancestors hit these shores as an indentured servant (white slave) aboard the Mayflower in 1620; Elias Story (19) was under the care of the Edward Winslow family, he died during the winter of 1620 (interestingly enough, I used to work for a descendant of Gilbert Winslow who was the brother of Edward Winslow who basically “owned” my ancestor, Elias).I'm Conservative since birth on 23 Jul 1963.
