The $10 also helps support the platform but was originally intended more to help ward off Creeps Skanks and Scammers when the Community was small. . RO is unique because it is Community Funded, in fact, it was Funded out of pocket by the Admin6 with the occasional donation. We have now grown beyond the ability for the Admin6 to do much more out of pocket. I do it on a laptop so I'm not sure about a phone. I just click on where I want the picture to go and a camera icon shows up, I put the pictures I want on my desktop so it is easy to find
