In ten years I climbed to enlisted ranks to become a Chief Petty Officer (E-7) and applied for a commission based on my record of accomplishments and difficult assignments with no college. I was one of 13 selected out of 1,100 applicants and was commissioned as a Naval Officer. I retired in 1998. I made twelve deployments between five and nine months. I lost many teammates and have more metal in my body I could be considered a transformer. But, I’d do it all over again with the wounds. I loved leading Sailors and Marines and always took care of them as they are a leaders number one asset. I loved them all as if they were my kids. They expect to be rewarded, praised for good work, and even disciplined when called for. Always take care of your ppl and they’ll take care of you. I’m a Texan who was transplanted to the worst left wing state in the country. I was always ready and willing to die for my country and I am still a commissioned officer that serves the President until I request in writing to resign my commission and approved by the president. I will never do that and will always fight for our country. Unfortunately, I believe we will fight a war on our soil unless we get a president and the GOP takes Congress and the Senate back and PRESIDENT Trump is back in office. It’ll take him maybe a whole month to fix Biden’s failures but with all of us backing him, no problem.

An interesting point on this subject is that my closest friends have all been liberals. Or course that's probably to be expected considering I live in the People's Democratic Republic of Commiefornia.

If you ask these same college kids questions about policy of either party, they can't answer what the party stands for. If you ask them who is the minority leader in the House, they have no idea. Young people follow the social media junk, not political agendas.
