Amanda-Payne The operation I worked with sent semi-loads of honey to sue honey company. Ran approximately 3,000 hives. The bees spent winter months in CA orange groves & summers in CO clover fields & apple orchards.
CDoveI watched a documentary on that once. It was so interesting. As of now, all I have are 4 hives. My two friends have close to 200 hives. I have learned a lot from them.
Amanda-Payne my brother has had about 6 hives in New Mexico for a couple years. And are starting figure it our with help from another aviary friend. They sold honey to the local ppl this year.
