    , I'd rather vote for West than Abbott, even though in Texas, the governor's powers are severly restricted compared to other governors.

    Mr. West may be what Texas needs. Our current governor waited 6 months to take any action against the invasion of our border. The time for action was day one of biden's bullshit. Governor Abbott 's doing too little too late. May be time for a change if it isn't too late already .

    Protecting the border is the responsibility of POTUS not the governor. If governor makes a move to do so, the courts cut it down at the knees. A better solution would be to secede from the union.
