    Jan. 2014 - Alexion Pharmaceuticals paid $100M to Moderna for developing mRNA technology for use in tx of rare diseases. It was expected to enter human trails in 2016. Instead it was ended in 2017 because animal trials indicated it would NEVER be safe enough to use in humans.
