ELECTIONS ARE IMPORTANT. Democrats could kill the filibuster if we don’t do so first. They impeach Trump (albeit not successfully). They stack the Court by expanding to 15 and adding a ton of radical leftist activists/judges. They add Puerto Rico and DC as states, gaining 4 more Democratic Senators and Reps. They grant millions of illegals amnesty and allow them to vote. They enact “hate speech” laws to censor anyone who disagrees. They nationalize police and destroy law and order, just like their laughable “enforcement” of laws in deep blue cities. They abandon the few loyal allies we have around the world and empower China. They essentially ban private ownership of guns. They double down on green energy, despite the mess it creates. They push mercantilism, with the government picking which companies succeed and fail. They bankrupt the country, eventually ushering in a digital dollar and negative interest rates when “capitalism” fails, so they can openly adopt socialism. So, yes… it really is that important. Corruption is the least of it. On the other hand, it will trigger an ugly divorce, which I’m starting to think is inevitable. 🤷‍♂️ I’m just hoping the economy really kicks into high gear before the midterms, but we’ll see. Half the Democrat voters don’t care about reality, including the economy, but some do, as do most independents. While the economy is much better than it was a year ago, most people are only starting to dig out from Bidenomics. The economy of 2026 will be critically important. I think how things feel, economically, in the fall will determine the outcome.
