If you've ever been "on the ground" along the U.S.-Mexican border (and I've been there), one of the things you'll notice is how most of the Mexican homes on the U.S. side, have heavily secured (barred) windows and doors.Why? Because American citizens of Mexican heritage, who live along the border, live in constant fear of criminal invasion and attack, by Mexican Nationals who work with Mexican Gangbangers on both sides of the border. It's been like this forever.Tucson, El Paso, San Diego... it doesn't matter. The organized, transnational criminal gangs, thrive and dominate in these border regions. Mexican Nationals routinely run into (and raid) areas along the border with "El Norte."They were INSIDE Nancy Guthrie's house when she came home and surprised them. Some were Mexican landscapers who were also affiliated with these international gangbangers. She surprised them! They killed her. Her body's been dumped "somewhere off the beaten path," between her home and the sanctuary of the Mexican border. If you want to find her body, patrol the routes they use and look for buzzards. Sadly, it's just a matter of time... and natural animal predation.
