THE SILENCE IS DEAFENING: It’s incredible how selective some people are about outrage.
When Laken Hope Riley was brutally attacked and killed by an illegal immigrant, Democrat leaders didn’t call for marches, protests, or policy changes.
When 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray was assaulted and murdered by two illegal immigrants, not a single major Democrat voice demanded deportations or accountability.
When mother of five Rachel Morin was tragically killed, again by someone who should not have been in this country, there was no national call from Democrat politicians for justice or reform.
When Dacara Thompson was assaulted and thrown from a bridge by an illegal immigrant, the silence from Democrat leadership was the same.
No statements.
No rallies.
No urgent policy push.
No labeling these criminals for what they were.
Yet suddenly, when an unhinged activist strikes an ICE agent with her car, we’re told to treat her like a victim and ignore the danger she posed. Some of these same voices are now lecturing everyone about law enforcement and morality.
If you hit an officer with a 4,000-plus pound vehicle—like Renee Nicole Good did—that vehicle becomes a deadly weapon. Officers are fully justified in defending themselves.
People see the double standard. The selective outrage. The moral grandstanding that only appears when it fits a political narrative.
That’s the real problem—and everyone knows it.
