    The 13 colonies were ~80% White when the American Revolution began. The USA was ~85% White at the time of the Civil War. By WWII, the USA was ~90% White.

    ~90% of Americans were still White as of 1970. Come Y2K, Whites were down to ~75% of the population. Today, the USA is ~60% White.
