FACTS WITH 2 EXCEPTIONS… The list provided is a common compilation often circulated to highlight patterns in certain terrorist incidents. Based on historical records, investigations, and official reports, most (but not all) of these claims are accurate. The perpetrators in the majority of these cases were indeed Muslims, typically affiliated with Islamist militant groups motivated by political, ideological, or religious extremism. However, there are two clear exceptions where the primary perpetrators were not Muslims: the Beltway Snipers and the Pan Am Flight 93 hijackers (which refers to the 1970 Dawson’s Field hijackings, not the 9/11 Flight 93).
