France has laws against sects and cults, but why is Islam not considered illegal under French law? Could it be that financial interests influence the government's stance? A sect or cult is defined as a group or individual that cannot leave a movement, an organization or a “religion” due to fear of being killed or having their family and friends harmed. Doesn’t Islam, by this definition, fit the characteristics of a sect or cult? The Canadian government owes Canadians an explanation for why it accepts such mediocre, petty, incontinent, pedophilic, polemical, vulgar, impure, inhumane, criminal, and cult-like individuals.
