I keep seeing leftists online screaming about how Trump’s a “convicted felon” with 34 counts, like they just nailed Al Capone. But here’s the truth: 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝟑𝟒 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐬𝐚𝐲 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐮𝐩𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐩 𝐝𝐢𝐝. These convictions? They’re under appeal—and for good reason. Since we're such a low information society, I think it's only right that we talk about those convictions. 𝐈𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭? Let’s be real — this whole Trump conviction is 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞-𝐮𝐩 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐨𝐫𝐲, it 𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐬, it 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐟 — and worst of all, it 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐚 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞. They had to twist and bend the law just to make it stick — and even then, it’s flimsy as hell. 𝟏. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐔𝐩 𝐚 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝-𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐨𝐫𝐲 Nobody — not in New York, not anywhere — has ever been convicted using this kind of legal logic. The DA said Trump “falsified business records” to cover up some other crime. 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐞. They just went with, “Trust us, it's illegal.” That’s not how this works. If you don’t even know what crime was committed, how do you say he was covering one up? Total due process violation. Complete legal nonsense. 𝟐. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐈𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 New York law is clear — 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 for a misdemeanor, 𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 for a felony. This stuff happened in 2016. The case should’ve died a long time ago. But because it’s Trump? Suddenly rules don’t matter. Try that as a regular citizen and watch how fast a judge tosses it out. 𝟑. 𝐍𝐨 𝐂𝐄𝐎 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 Business record errors? 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐮𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐚 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐞 — 𝐚 𝐜𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐞. 𝐍𝐨 𝐂𝐄𝐎 𝐢𝐧 𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 has gone to jail over this kind of thing. Not Biden. Not Hillary. Not any of them. If it were anyone else, this case would've been laughed out of court. 𝟒. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐋𝐞𝐟𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐉𝐮𝐫𝐲 𝐆𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 “𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐞” The DA told the jury Trump covered up some kind of crime — but never said what. The judge literally let jurors guess what the other crime might be—maybe election law, maybe campaign law, maybe tax stuff. They didn’t even have to agree. 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐥𝐚𝐰 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬. 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 — 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐚 𝐜𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐬. Trump’s conviction is a 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞 𝐣𝐨𝐤𝐞. It breaks the law, bends every rule, and tries to criminalize something that’s never been prosecuted in American history.
