    In other words, there is a genetic potential for homosexuality, but it is only brought out after certain environmental conditions have been met, usually between the ages of 2 & 4.

    And the thinking is that it revolves around the failure of the child to properly bond with its parents. But where they differ why classical Freudian psychoanalysis, whereby the mother usually gets blamed, this time they faulted the father.

    And it is not so much of what he has done, but rather what he has failed to do. While ~30% of all children grow up in a single parent household (almost exclusively single mother households) slightly more than 50% of homosexuals report growing up in a single parent household.

    Apparently, one of the factors which can trigger an already genetically prone child to develop Same Sex Attraction is an absentee dad.
