tambourinegirl ‌ AOC claims to be from The Bronx. Truth is, her family moved up to Westchester county, to the town of Briar Cliff Manor, when she was only 5 y/o. If I still lived in The Bronx, AOC would be my House Rep.

tambourinegirl ‌ I'm from The Bronx. Walked to grammar school, took the subway to high school, & drove to college - all in The Bronx. Lived there until I was 30, & worked there until I was 50. Worked at 3 different hospitals - all in The Bronx. Had an office there too.

tambourinegirl ‌ My grandfather helped build Yankee Stadium in the 1920's. My great-grandfather helped build The Bronx Zoo in the 1890's. And when I die, I will be buried in the family plot in Woodlawn Cemetery, which as you may have already guessed, is also in The Bronx.
