If I still lived in New York City, AOC would be my House Rep. But unlike AOC, who claims to be from The Bronx, I am actually from The Bronx. The Bronx in on the Right & Manhattan is on the Left in the Currier & Ives lithograph from 1875 shown below.

AOC left The Bronx in 1994 when she was 5 y/o for Briar Cliff Manor up in Westchester county. I lived in The Bronx until 1987 when I was 30, & worked in The Bronx until 2007 when I was 50.

I walked 2 blocks to St. Dominic's Grammar School on the corner of White Plains Rd & Van Nest Ave. I took the #5 train 4 stops uptown to Cardinal Spellman High School. And I drove 4 to 5 miles along the Bronx River Parkway & Mosholu Parkway to get to Lehman College.

I worked at Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center on East 238th St, Montefiore Hospital on East 210th Street, & St. Barnabas Hospital on 3rd Ave. Had my own office on Eastchester Rd.

My grandfather helped build Yankee Stadium in 1922-1923. And my great-grandfather helped build The Bronx Zoo in 1895-1899. When I die, I will be buried in the family plot at Woodlawn Cemetery on Webster Ave.

I am a native New Yorker. I'm from The Bronx. AOC is simply an opportunist, at best.
