Drop the economic argument, drop every argument that isn’t: Ireland is a nation state for the Irish people 🇮🇪 Britain is a nation state for the British people 🇬🇧 Germany is a nation state for the German people 🇩🇪 France for the French, Australia for the Anglo-Celts etc. It doesn’t matter what foreigners provide whether it be positive or negative. A nation state is for that nation of people. Simple as. Anything else is muddying the waters. There is nothing a foreigner can do that our own can’t be trained to do anyway.
