The US Senate this week will not finalize an agreement to tighten immigration laws and protect the border to support the allocation of new aid to Ukraine and will not vote on this issue.
This was stated by Senator James Lankford, who leads the Republican Party in negotiations with the Democrats.
The senator stressed that work on the agreement will continue until it is completed and lawmakers will return to this issue in January to fully finalize the text.
