18 years ago today, CHP officer Andy Stevens was murdered.
Officer Stevens had pulled over two vehicles. After a brief conversation with the occupants of the second vehicle, he leaned into the driver's window and was shot in the head. The suspect fled.
After the perps were captured, it turned out that the shooter had been handed his gun by a client - who had hired the aspiring United Society of Aryan Skinheads gangbanger to murder another man, unrelated to Officer Stevens.

    ONE officer pulling over TWO vehicles? He should have called for backup. sorry he was killed though. these people have no regard for life. hopefully they will die in kind.
