Lord, I can picture myself walking alongside You when the sun starts setting. Talking to You about the day You have so gracefully given me. About the blessings I received so graciously from Your hand, the miracles I spotted during the day, the times I felt You next to me, making a way through the hours. Talking to You Lord about the suffering I witnessed again today, the hurts, the pains, the hunger.. I look up into Your eyes and I see the unconditional love You have for me and this imperfect world, I see the worry that talking about it causes You because we have become so ‘un-worried’ about spending time with You, bringing our worries and challenges to You, depending on You to help us through situations.. Lord, show me how I can help. Lead me on paths that will bring this world back to You. Let me recognise this is from You. Give me a spirit of willingness to fight for You as You fight for us. And as the sun sets, remind us to be thankful for all we have, who we have and that we need to turn to You to get through the night towards another day of grace and mercy. Thank You for allowing me to walk a short distance with You. Forever Your child,
