ROCKOLLECTIONS: 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF 9/11 PT.1
For some things Time seems to go by fast, it's hard to believe it's been Twenty Years.
I can still remember every feeling, every shocking reaction, even every smell here in NYC relating to the muslim extremist attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and Flight 93.
And still, Time has not diminished my anger at all, I doubt it ever will.
You know what happened 20 years ago- almost 3,000 people got up, went to work and never came home again.
This will be a shorter Series, half the one I did for the 10th Anniversary.
In this opening Episode, a listen to mostly songs written AFTER Sept 11th 2001 inspired by or directly about the events of that day.
It is simply some of the best music I could find regarding the topic.
Please listen to the lyrics!

I will never forget! I was across the river at work and watched the 2nd plane hit. Everyone in my shop stopped working and were watching as well. Soon afterwards, the terminal shut down and I cut all the men loose. One of them left early and came back to tell me the bridge was closed, so I couldn't ... View More

That's a good story that captures the chaos. I was glued to the TV out here in Brooklyn, and I could smell the toxic fumes from the burning!
