Our rights have been constantly chiseled away a little at a time because we thought that if we just played nice with the left and compromied on things, everything would be okay in the end. But the left doesn't work that way. People often ask what Trump's greatest accomplishment was. There's a list to choose from as long as I am tall, but I think the greatest one was that he woke conservatives up to how the left actually operates. We thought we could pay attention during election year, cast our one precious vote for the person we believe to be most qualified for the job, and then go back to our lives till next time. We didn't understand that the Communists posing as Americans don't operate like that. They're money-hungry, power-hungry egomaniacs with God complexes. They eat, drink, sleep, breathe and live this every single minute, of every single hour, of every single day, of every single week, of every single month, of every single year of their entire lives. They never rest, they never take a vacation, and they sure as hell NEVER compromise on what they want. While we've been busy being responsible Americans - going to work, paying the bills and raising our kids to be mature, responsible, respectful human beings - they've been undermining and destroying everything we believe in, every good thing this country was founded on. And they've been at it for over a hundred years because they play the long game. One of the absolute WORST mistakes we conservatives ever made was giving control of the education system over to the left, and now we're reaping the consequences of that horrific mistake. As much as we may not like it, we have to accept the fact that we can't go back to our lives anymore. We can't live anymore the way we used to. We have to start playing the long game too. Whether we like it or not, we have to start living this the way they do - every single minute.....of every single hour.....of every single day.....of every single week......of every single month.....of every single year......of OUR entire lives. And we need to teach our kids and grandkids to do the same. If we don't, we won't have lives worth going back to, and our kids and grandkids certainly won't live in a country that any of us would recognize as America.
