    The USA is geographically a Republican nation. 28 states currently have Republican governors. And in 30 states, Republicans are in the majority of both the assembly & state senate. In another 3 states, they are in the majority in one or the other.

    16 of the 22 Democrat governors, & 20 of the 28 Republican governors, are up for re-election. There is no reason (other than massive cheating by the Democrats again) to think that the GOP will not gain 3 or 4 or 5 governorships in another 2 weeks.
