Opposite of emigrant. A "migrant" is someone who moves from one place to another WITHIN the borders of their own country.An "alien" is a foreigner, especially one who is not a naturalized citizen of the country where they are living. Opposite of native. (So when msm media refers to illegal immigrants//aliens as migrants, they are both literally and figuratively incorrect. So much for that Ivy League education...)
