I kept him out of the hospital and nursing home as much as possible at home with me. The last year he was in the hospital or nursing home every month. Believe me I do not want to live to be that age. I don’t wanna to be laying around in nursing homes or hospitals with tubes in me and being stuck every two minutes with a needle, pooping in a bed pan or pooping in a diaper. Not for me. I had to clean and diaper both of my parents. Sometimes had to do it when they were in a nursing home . Shortly after my dad had a stroke and was in the nursing home waiting six weeks for surgery. Her nurse abused by throwing a bedpan at him. I went to pick him up to take him to the hospital for a preop test and things got very tense even though I had the doctors permission to do it. Administrator claimed that I assaulted him but that’s not true he turned around and walked into me and file charges. The next day I went back in I walked in even though I was told I wasn’t allowed back on the property went to my dad‘s room I dressed him put them in a wheelchair and wheel them outside to my vehicle. We went to the hospital remainder over the weekend had a surgery Then went to another nursing home after that. I did Threaten the nursing home administrator with violence if he went back in to my dad’s room and harassed him any further which he did three times. When I get to the point I can’t take care of myself or I start messing my pants or I forget my name but I forget how to get home from the grocery store then it’s time to depart this world on my own terms. BTW The state dropped the assault charges because they knew they were bogus and this administrator had done this to other people. I tried to sue the nursing home but you can find a lawyer to do it. Ended up there was a FBI investigation of Manor care nursing homes which was later sold to another company and the administrator before that was fired. The Baltimore Sun papers did a series on this nursing home any administrator and I actually talk to the reporter and I pleaded with him to give all the people involved in the story together find a lawyer for a little bit power class action suit against that nursing home,
