46 years ago today, Antonio and Elizabeth disappeared at the hands of General Augusto Pinochet's thugs. It is unknown when or where they were finally murdered. The operation was apparently part of a hunt for an anti-Pinochet militant named Juan Maino; Juan Maino was shipped off to a Nazi-run pedophile cult compound called "Colonia Dignidad" (Dignity Colony) before his murder. Elizabeth was four months pregnant; it's unknown what happened to the baby, but given that the babies the Pinochet regime was selling abroad would retail for thousands of dollars - sometimes over a hundred thousand - and corrupt regime agents would receive a portion of the take - it is possible that they kept her alive long enough to give birth to a salable product.
