For those that may not understand the difference between Sex and Gender. Sex and gender are two completely different things. Sex is about a person's biology. It describes their chromosomal make up, their hormones, and/or their anatomy. Sexual reassignment surgery does NOT alter DNA nor chromosomal integrity. Therefore the sex you are born into is the sex you remain your entire life, no matter how you identify or what measures you take to alter your body.
