His name is Jake Reed, he is a Police Officer in Joplin. Jake and two of his partners were shot by a criminal, one of them Ben Cooper has died. Police say that he will not be able to recover from his injuries. Police say that Jake Reed is an organ donor and plans are underway for transplants. He will be continuing to save lives.
