    WWI began in August,1914 & ended in November, 1918. Pearl Harbor was in December, 1941, & the invasion of Poland in September, 1939. But Japan invaded China in 1931. WWII came to an end in May & August of '45. 4 years became 14 years. WWIII is not going to be over for a long, long time.
