I was a Redskins for 56.5 years but I stopped watching the NFL 2 summers ago. I even gave away all of my Redskins t-shirts, polo's, hat, etc. to the homeless in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area that I bump into off the highways/at intersections/etc. (in relation to Bags for the Homeless that God got me to start). Good thing that I stopped watching the NFL a few years. Changing the name of the Redskins was the last straw. The NFL had been crazy for the past 10 years or so anyway so it wasn't a surprise that I (and others) have walked away. Say the name Redskins. Say it. Say it. They will forever be the Redskins.
