Hey folks. Free Speech is probably the most important right in the Constitution. Facebook, Twitter, and other corporations have silenced too many people too many times. Now the left is starting to get it. Whoopie Goldberg was suspended by ABC for saying "Being Jewish isn't a race" She's wrong in that sense. But to shut her up by infringing on her 1st Amendment is dead wrong. I've been banned by FB + Twit. Still, in America we're supposed to be able to voice our opinions without fear of "cancel culture" I disagree with Goldberg on every issue, but it's not right to suspend her for being dumb-or liberal. FREE SPEECH MEANS YOU CAN VOICE UNPOPULAR OPINIONS. I'm a patriot. I hate her policies. But I'll defend her free speech-even though I hate what she says. She has a right to voice her opinion, even if she's dead wrong. ABC should not have suspended her. Who's next? Tucker Carlson? Dan Bongino? Donald Trump has already been silenced by Twitter. This is not a positive trend for a fractured country.
