Brandi Houston was strangled by an Aryan Brotherhood member, who then stole her car and fled the state. He tried to convince a court that the strangulation was consensual - however, the court saw through this nonsense. (The fact that what got him caught was strangling someone ELSE and stealing his car might have been a hint.)
