Officials in Arizona claim this is a picture of satellites being launched. I checked and as far as I can tell they do not have a facility in AZ to launch satellites. Besides that, since when do satellites launch from the sky to the ground?

BradleyPutvinyes I am aware that they can do this from airplanes but again those things look like they are heading to earth not away from it. I am going to see if that is what they were doing that night.

BradleyPutvinSatellites were launched on Jan. 18, 2022, but not from Arizona. They launched from the Kennedy Space Center. Perhaps we should be more concerned about the satellites being 49 more Starlink satellites. Space X has put more than 2000 of those things around the earth :/
