This is my son and his new family. His fiance gave birth to twins on January 14th.
6 hours after Mommy and the girl twin were discharged, she was rushed back to the E.R. with heavy bleeding.
She was admitted and then taken into surgery a few hours later to try and stop the bleeding.
When she finally got back to her room, her bleeding was excessive and they realized that they were going to have to take her back to surgery for the 2nd time that same day.
Finally, after the 2nd surgery, which took about 2 hours longer than what they anticipated, they found the bleed and were able to fix it.
Unfortunately, my son has had to be out of work this entire time, which is now coming up on a full week and since she is going to be out of commission for a while, he will need to stay home with her, to not only keep watch over her but to care for the twins since she's limited with what she can do.
What does this mean? No money coming in. He had switched to this new job a few months ago due to better pay, thinking this was a good move, but of course nobody knew this medical emergency would pop up.
So, due to him being new to this job, he has no sick/vacation time, no benefits, no savings and no income. He'll actually be lucky, to even still have a job to go back to, once his fiance is able to take care of the babies on her own.
I have never liked to ask for help and when it comes to me, I will not but considering this involves my child and now my grandchildren, I feel I must.
My son is 26 and feels like a failure because he's not able to provide for his family at this point and time. He's been put under some intense pressure and stress as of late and has no clue where to turn. The one person he would turn to whenever he had a problem, was his father but my husband passed away May 2012 due to cancer.
So, here I am, asking for help for my son and his new family.
If you can find it in your hearts to help out, even with just $1.00, that's $1.00 less that they have to try and figure out were to get it from.
I can not tell you how grateful we will all be and how relieved we will all be, because at this point and time, it's all about being able to keep the bills paid and a roof over the heads of these tiny twins that they have now.
No matter how much or how little you can help out, it means the world and helps more than you know!
Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. Blessing and love to you all and God Bless this wonderful United States of America!
