    WTH? Are you talking about a debit card or what? I don't think legally they can do that. If that's the case, I sure would find a corporate number to call them.

    Kathy we did call. They say it's because a lot of ppl drive off without paying. That's not my problem and I don't intend to pay for THEIR problems. I'll never go there again.

    I hear you. But if it's a debit card, it's instant gratification for them and no need to overcharge because if you don't have enough in your account, the pump will stop at your limit.     A lot of gas stations in Central Illinois used to do that until your account cleared but they would only take out 30 bucks on top of your gas ! BULLCRAP of the whole thing is it usually took several days to get reimbursed

    I could half understand if you're paying cash, but when you use your debit card, it should be a problem. It's not like you can drive off without paying.
