"I was just put on unpaid administrative leave and removed from the schedule. I am a RN with a religious exemption, I was bullied and harassed by my coworkers, I was even called dangerous by the nurse who originally hired me almost 14 years ago. I have worked through the pandemic and suddenly I am dangerous because of my exemption, no one should have KNOWN my status, it isn’t something I talk about, but because those of us who have exemptions are required to wear a different mask than those who are {censored word that sounds like vacuumed}, we are essentially wearing our medical information on our faces and considered unclean. This 'othering' has created a hostile work place as well as affected the way I am able to earn my patients trust. I used to love my job, sadly, that is no longer true.
