Motorcycle accident A1A and Harvard I sat on beach streaming music because it was really nice last night. I got up to head back to condo and was walking up the ramp and just about to A1A. a guy on a motorcycle came hauling ass up A1A northbound. A couple of hundred feet before he got to the intersection something happened. bI heard no engine and saw the bike slide up A1A and sparks going everywhere. People outside of the restaurant on the corner called 911. Beach patrol showed up. I didn’t see the rider or passenger but people ran over by the median. I didn’t rubberneck as there was already 5-6!people there. but I heard someone yelling that they couldn’t feel their r legs and asking to be helped up. Ambo came. road has been closed. NB. I just came to McDonalds. saw the bike laying in street. a woman who had been working overnight at the restaurant said they found someone laying along the road had a gun. so maybe two people on the bike. the headlight is still on and police are marking the road and taking measurements. It doesn’t look good for anyone on that bike judging by the distance. i saw guess I saw the bike slide 200 feet. right at Christmas and New Years. crazy. the police never stop or ticket people racing up the 35mph road or even those that blow the signaled crosswalks here
