Jesus is at the center of our faith not only because He simply brought us salvation but because He also provides us with a more concrete embodiment of our Lord God. Whilst God is with us forever, his power and depth also remain unfathomable. Jesus on the other hand, who may have departed His human flesh, left us nevertheless a human imprint of God's majesty through which we may better understand and worship Him. Through our human eyes, we glance up at Christ upon the cross, and through Christ, we see but the faintest and beautiful glimmers of what God in the beyond.
