    Made pancakes for my wife & step-daughter & son-in-law & grandson yesterday morning for our Christmas breakfast. The secret to the best smelling pancakes you'll ever have is a tablespoon of vanilla extract & a teaspoon of almond extract in the batter.

    If you want to change things up a little you can substitute chocolate milk for regular milk. It gives the pancakes a mildly sweet & chocolate flavor withouit turning them into huge chocolate chip cookies for breakfast.
