The End

What is your reaction when I tell you that Jesus Christ could return this very day?Does your heart jump with excitement and anticipation at the thought of His coming? Or does your stomach drop with anxiety?This little litmus test is a great indicator of where you are at spiritually.I think one of the main reasons God has included so much end-times prophecy in the pages of Scripture is so that it will impact and influence how we live today. When it comes to last-days events, God wants to reveal, not conceal His plans, so that we can be ready—watching and waiting, living for Him and telling others the Good News of salvation.We should be seeking to know and understand what the Bible has to say about the end times.Whenever I preach on this topic, one of my go-to authors is Mark Hitchcock. Mark has a passion for the exposition of Scripture, and for bringing the message of the imminent return of Jesus to our generation.
