Some of my Chinese and Japanese calligraphy works. I have been doing it for almost 2 yrs. and it has prepared me for drawing class. It also helps develop hand/ eye coordination in the use of the sword/ edged weapons as well as in shooting firearms. And it's also my form of relaxation. The samurai even engaged in this type of activity in feudal Japan for personal refinement since they were also patrons of the arts.
